Please be aware of the road repair work during the first week of school and plan accordingly. From Roosevelt City: As part of a Roosevelt City project to install secondary water pipelines and services, 1080 South will be closed between State Street and 320 East on August 19 until August 22. There will be no access for thru traffic, so access to the school will need to be from 500 East. Additionally, we ask that foot traffic through this area is minimized. If children will be walking this route, we ask that they remain vigilant, staying on sidewalks and away from the construction equipment and construction sites. Thank you for your understanding as the city completes this portion of the project.

We apologize for the last minute change, but there was a scheduling conflict with the Roosevelt Aquatic Center and our pool days that had been scheduled for next week. In order to still allow our students to have the pool activity that they earned, we needed to make the following changes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades will now go to the pool on Monday afternoon from 12:30-2:00. 1st grade will go to the pool after their previously scheduled trip to the nature park. 4th and 5th grades will now go to the pool on Tuesday from 12:30-2:00. Please send your students to school on the pool days in appropriate school dress. They may wear their swimsuits to school with shorts and t-shirts covering the swimsuit.
